Products & Swatches |
1. Boujois Rough Edition Velvet in Grande Cru – It’s a cream to matte lipstick that goes on as the name would suggest, like velvet. Although it is showing up quite dark on my arm (my arm is A LOT lighter then my face) it comes of much more vibrate when I wear it on my lips. This is actually the shade I am wearing in the picture attached to this post on previous page. I have a clear gloss over top.
2. LimeCime lip velvetines in Wicked. The velvetines are a liquid to matte product and are a lot looser in texture than the Bourjois lip product mentioned previously. When completely dry this product has a lot least transfer than the Bourjois Rough Edition. The limeCrime also shows up more brighter/vibrant on darker skin and is a lot deep on my arm than it looks on my lips. The way it looks on my arm may be a great indication of how it may show on you if you are of lighter skin complexion. When completely dry the LimeCrime product & the Bourjois product look pretty much the same. You can view me wearing the shade here
3. Revlon ColourBurst Matte Balm in Stand Out – If you are looking for a matte, this isn’t it! This is not a matte lip product. It has a sheen (new wave mattes, whatever that means) but it is not shiny or glossy. I reach for this one the most as it is so affordable and I get the look of some of my more pricey lip products without having to waste those. This one is also the most hydrating on the lips and I would say is a lipstick balm. It wears very well and leaves a stain on the lips as the product is worn off. You can view a picture of my wearing this here
4. MAC Cosmetics from Rihanna x Mac collection in RiRi Woo here
