Jungle Mail – 10th February 2013
Time for junglette spotlight and we are kick starting with
Nickisha who says:-
“Didn’t know what to upload, so I did a collage with 4 pictures. The first picture is when I was 3. I had locs until the age of 8. In the second picture my hair is wet without no product in it. The third picture is after I twisted my hair and put them on flexirods and the last picture is from 2 days ago. I wanted to do the flat-twist style with flexirods you posted from one of your followers, but when I left the house it started to rain and my hair got wet, so the style changed. But I still loved it”
Earlier this week Geraldine posted
“Hi, my name is Geraldine and I am a natural hair girl living in a straight hair world, aka Austria, lol. I entered this competition because I wanted to represent our kind of beauty, which is not always seen here. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=587874614563208&set=a.554364031247600.146002.289809971036342&type=1&theater is the link for the photo, I would really appreciate you my international curlfriends clicking and LIKING. I don´t have enough votes and the competition is fierce, being the only natural girl, please help me!”
Well she won the overall competition!

Lysa says:-
“My natural hair journey over the past 2 1/2 years. I wore my hair in locks for 8 years then I cut them in June 2010. I missed my locks and decided to sister lock in Oct. 2010. I decided that sister locks were not for me so now I have been wearing my free flowing hair for a year now.”

“Just wanted to send u a pik of my first flexi rod set..”
Trescha says:-
“I have been enjoying this twist out as a way to stretch my hair and to dry without applying heat…I section my hair at night apply either Argan or Macadamia nut oil to my hair, double strand twist, apply the perm rods, and take down in the morning, run fingers through and I’m out the door! Accesories like scarves, barrettes, headbands, and clips can be added for different looks…it’s a nice change from my usual wash and go! Peace and Blessings”
