Can you bleach Remy human hair extensions?

You can’t bleach any hair extensions lighter (unless it’s pure virgin hair). This is because Remy hair is already chemically processed, so adding another chemical (the bleach) creates a different reaction that can affect the texture and quality of the hair.

How many times can I bleach my wig?

In short, you can certainly dye your human hair extensions more than once or even three times if you wish, but it’s difficult to do so without damaging your extensions.

Do you wash wig before bleaching?

1) Wash your wig: This is especially important if the hair is not virgin, or if you’ve processed your wig with chemicals or styling products. Only shampoo before dyeing–no conditioner. 2) Let wig dry completely: We suggest washing a couple of days before you dye to allow plenty of drying time.

Regardless of how high the quality of your extensions are, too much bleach can still damage them to the point of no repair. Remember, bleach is an extremely strong chemical that has the ability to change the actual chemistry of hair.

Can I lighten my Bellami hair extensions?

Dyeing may lead to shortening the lifespan of your BELLAMI’s and possibly cause damage if not done correctly. We also recommend not lightening or using any bleaching agents. We do not recommend dying our Balayage or Ombre sets as they have been processed multiple times.
